Most individuals would tend to think that the art of dealing with real estate is just an in born tactic that does not require any form of Investment Training. This tactic requires a sound training in order to ensure credibility and reliability of a real estate dealer. Normally to become a real estate investor, required just training majorly in business or a basic training in architecture or in urban planning. These trainings lay emphasis on just the business side of real estate or even just the planning bit of it thus creating a void in the whole package of real estates.
For quite a long time the venture of real estate investments was limited to just going through a programme of a masters in business administration. This has been done with just a specialization in the financing of real estate, a fact that has changed over time.
Investment Training has been developed since the 1980s by institutions for instance the founding of a center for real estate education in 1983.development of these academic programmes was fuelled by the understanding of the technicalities of real estate investments, which created a pool of courses since then. Institutions such as university of Columbia which were interested in developing studies on this subject also took up on the venture and developed degree programmes on the same.
The increased interest on this form of training in the 1990s created an even greater interest in developing these programmes in the 2000s after realizing that there was a great need in professionals with these qualifications. Other programmes have since then been developed focusing more on the full package of real estate that includes financing, planning ,improvement of land and fixtures to the land.
Real Estate Investment Training have continually been dynamic venturing into a wide range of courses: short courses, degree courses and even masters’ courses thus enhancing the professionalism of real estate dealings. Some of these courses are; property development, real estate finance and development, estate planning, real estate investing, real estate law among other key programmes. These courses are unlimited by countries and have tended to be widely spread among learning institutions in the world with no preference of country or continent.
Therefore the art of real estate is not just a hobby but a profession with which requires tactic more than just an interest. It however takes a close relation to other professions that are available for instance lawyers, architects, city planners, asset managers as well as managers of assets. Such professionals already have a glimpse of what really involves real estate that includes the legal, planning and development perspective that entails the success of a real estate investor. Formal training is therefore very vital.
